During the show "Business in Hard Times", Ruth tells how to increase revenues, decrease expenses, and use your financial statements to make it through. Ruth closes by considering how to get through troubled finacial times at home, as well.

In this revisit to one of our favorite past shows, we take a look at people who overcame resistance to get something done. During the show "Persistence", Ruth and Bob talk about doggedly pursuing historic preservation, the anti-war demostrations of the 60's and 70's, and what it takes to close a SuperFund site. Ruth closes with her definition of sustainability.
